This is a clip of Red Skelton's show from 1969. (Red Skelton is a comedian, but this clip is quite serious.) He shares what his teacher told him and his class about the Pledge of Allegiance when he was a small boy--back when there were 48 states and before the words "under God" were added to the Pledge.
